Position Responsibilities
As a Sr. Product Marketing Specialist at Deltek Replicon, you will leverage your understanding of the product, market and use cases to enable the company to sell better and faster. You will need to quickly become an expert in our government contracting products, the market, our customers and our competition, and be able to translate this knowledge to help develop the
go-to-market strategy and positioning with the goal of growing market share. You will be involved in all aspects of
product marketing , including conducting
market research , creating
messaging and positioning , becoming well-versed in the competitive landscape, driving marketing plans, partnering with internal and external stakeholders, creating and executing go-to-market strategies for
product launches and releases , and delivering impactful narratives for
sales enablement . You will work closely with demand generation, sales, product management, customer success and most other teams within the organization.
This role will support the market strategy and positioning for Deltek’s products that serve firms in the government contracting industry and will report directly to the Director of Product Marketing for Government Contracting.

What You Will Do :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and implement go-to-market strategies for our product portfolio, including new product launches and releases
- Develop and implement unique positioning, customer personas and messaging that clearly differentiates Deltek and our products in the marketplace
- Conduct deep dives into customer interviews, adoption data, and customer information to develop insights on messaging, positioning, and pricing, as well as customer success stories that resonate with the target market
- Understand and leverage Deltek’s partner ecosystem to enhance go-to-market strategies, execution and results
- Confidently create and present enablement to prospect- and customer-facing teams to ensure proper messaging and utilization of materials
- Continually experiment and iterate to increase adoption and understand the voice of the customer
- Manage product messaging and content creation, including website content, ebooks, videos, customer success stories, blogs and other sales support materials
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in sales, marketing and product management on priorities and initiatives that need product marketing team support
- Collaborate with product marketing team members to develop best practices and tools that maintain consistency across all Deltek solutions
- Communicate the value proposition of Deltek products to the market and be a key evangelist for the solutions
Qualifications
What We Want From You :
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in product marketing preferably B2B applications in the cloud
- Very strong written and presentation skills and understanding how to best leverage various mediums like web site, videos, webinars, blogs, to communicate product value
- Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
- Ability to manage and support a product launch or release go-to-market plan
- Analytical and inquisitive nature, with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a matrixed organization (with product management, corporate and demand marketing, and sales) with positive influence
- Desire to continue to learn and develop skills as a product marketer
- Understand how to leverage GenAI tools to gain efficiency in everyday product marketing tasks
Be prepared to provide examples of blogs written, webinars/presentations developed/presented, and any additional materials or assets you have created in your previous product marketing roles.
