Accounting at Nutanix

The Senior Tax Analyst will be a part of Nutanix's tax team, reporting to the Director - US Tax Reporting and Compliance. The tax team is responsible for handling all aspects of the company's tax function, including income tax accounting, compliance, audit, planning, systems, and processes for the US Corporate Tax function. This team works collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting and payment. The team is detail-oriented, analytical, and focused on delivering results in a fast-paced environment. The Senior Tax Analyst will have the opportunity to work on various tax projects and contribute to process improvements.

Your Role

• Prepare quarterly and annual US corporate income tax calculations
• Manage federal and state tax audits and notices
• Reconcile tax related accounts
• Perform tax research and provide recommendations
• Collaborate and build relationships throughout the organization
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Multi-state and multi-entity tax compliance experience
• Experience in ASC 740 income tax provisions

What You Will Bring

• 5+ years of corporate income tax experience in public accounting firm and/or private industry.
• BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Tax and/or Finance.
• Multi-state and multi-entity tax compliance experience.
• Experience in ASC 740 income tax provisions and familiarity with ONESOURCE Tax Provision tool.
• Experience working with NetSuite or other ERP system.
• MST and/or CPA certification.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
