Job Role: Sr. Technical Professional (Mechanical)

Reports To: Sr. Technical Advisor

Position Description

  • The candidate shall be responsible for preparation of Scope of work, Material / Purchase requisition based on contract requirements.
  • The candidate shall carry out Technical offer review, preparation of TQ/ TBE of Suppliers quotations
  • The candidate shall be responsible for review of supplier documents i.e. design calculation, drawing, procedures etc during project execution
  • The candidate shall be responsible for carrying out Engineering inspection at suppliers workshop during project execution
  • The candidate shall visit site during installation of KBR proprietary equipment at site and provide guidance to site team for smooth execution
  • Maintains a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all governmental regulations and corporate safety guidelines. Ensures that all personnel assigned to the operations receive appropriate safety training and adhere to all safety standards

Requirements

  • BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering with at least 10-12 years of experience in Design & Engineering preferably in Process Plant Equipment Manufacturing Industry
  • Capable of preparing Scope of work, Material / Purchase requisitions based on contract documents, Vendor offer review along with TQ/TBE and Vendor document review.
  • A sound knowledge of international engineering codes, standards, statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Exposure to design of Pressure Vessel and Heat exchangers for process or similar industries.
  • Experience of design and engineering of critical equipment of Fertilizer (Ammonia) industries will be preferable.
  • Must have good knowledge of best manufacturing practices.
  • Must be capable of reviewing manufacturing drawing, knowledge of ASME Sec VIII DIV 1 & 2, ASME Sec II Part A, B, D, TEMA, API-934A-E
  • Good communication skills with sound writing and spoken skills in English.
  • Must be ready to travel based on Project needs (within India and abroad)
  • Must be capable of aligning with customer and other project stake holders and perform in the best interest of the organization.
  • Possess motivation and drive towards team working and realizing group objectives
