Project Summary

The Rapid Response Activity is anticipated to be a two-year project that seeks to improve stability in conflict affected areas, particularly the northern West Bank. It aims to alleviate grievances, to strengthen communities' abilities to withstand shocks and stressors, and to provide opportunities for youth impacted by violence and conflict. Managed under the GISR MENA mechanism, the activity will operate to respond to immediate and emergent needs, to improve short-term stability in specific geographic areas that have recently emerged as flashpoints.

Position Summary

The Security Officer will support the safety and security of the Rapid Response Activity team and ensure compliance with MSI and Tetra Tech Duty of Care Standards in close coordination with the MSI Headquarters (HQ) Security Team. The position will be supervised by the Chief of Party (COP) in close coordination with the Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) as well for security operational and administrative issues. The position will also closely work with the HQ Global Security Team and will be based in Ramallah.
