Position Overview:
Pickle Monk Studios is seeking a highly skilled Senior Visual Designer to join our team. As a Senior Visual Designer, you will be responsible for creating compelling visual content that meets our clients' needs and exceeds their expectations. This role requires a strong foundation in both 2D and 3D design, as well as proficiency in industry-standard software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Blender. The ideal candidate is a versatile artist with a keen eye for detail, exceptional creativity, and a passion for storytelling through visuals.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and visual styles for projects.
- Create high-quality 2D and 3D assets, animations, and visual effects using Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Blender, and other relevant software.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all visual elements, adhering to project guidelines and deadlines.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to enhance project outcomes.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve skills and techniques.
- Adapt to various project requirements and contribute to multiple stages of production, from concept development to final delivery.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient project completion.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Animation, or related field.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Blender, and other relevant software.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of 2D and 3D design work, animations, and visual effects.
- Solid understanding of design principles, composition, color theory, and typography.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of quality while meeting tight deadlines.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation in visual storytelling.
- Previous experience in multimedia production, animation, or related fields is a plus.
