Avishi Center is an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) based organization that provides intervention services for children with Autism and other neurological disorders. Our methodology provides special focus on the children's development and also empowers the parents. We provide evidence-based behavior analysis and therapy to children with Autism and other developmental disabilities. This involves training the child directly as well as training the family members by formulating programs and teaching procedure as per the child's needs.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Occupational Therapist at Avishi Center located in Bengaluru. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients' functional status and occupational roles, and developing a treatment plan tailored to their individual needs. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to provide care that helps children gain independence, develop daily living skills, and function successfully in home, school, and community settings.
Qualifications
- Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with children with Autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Licensure and registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Certification in Sensory Integration (SI) or Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) is a plus
