Job description
The IT Support Specialist leverages excellent customer service skills to provide IT level support to a wide range of clients of varying abilities across a range of platforms. Working in a fast-paced environment the IT Support Specialist will provide day-to-day technical support for security systems, applications and end-user hardware for both our clients and employees.
- Account management – using application systems such as Active Directory, PingID, Citrix, FTP and other various online review platforms.
- Support end-users (customers and employees) – with range of application and hardware issues, within specified service level agreements (SLAs).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required – in order to provide highest level of customer service(whether via ticketing system/phone/screenshare) and to thoroughly document resolution steps.
- Attend various team and departmental meetings both in-person at local office location and via teleconference.
- Publish and maintain internal articles in knowledge base.
- Collaborate with other application services and/or infrastructure teams to resolve multi-faceted environment issues.
- Participate in periodic application services or technology projects to improve overall efficiency and/or services.
- Conduct training for new hires and/or act as mentor to less experienced team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate degree or higher.
- Bachelor degree in a technology-related field preferred.
Certification Requirements:
- Network+ and A+ certifications preferred.
Experience Requirements:
- At least 3 - 5 years experience or equivalent in other technical role.
- Prior experience in eDiscovery industry preferred.
Software Requirements:
- Proficiency with Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Office applications.
- Prior experience with Active Directory, PingID and Citrix preferred.
Skill Requirements:
- Highly logical with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Quick to learn new applications and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to interact with end-users in a professional manner in variety of settings (in-person/email/phone/screenshare/chat).
- Ability to communicate resolution steps in a clear and concise manner to end-users.
- Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and strong typing proficiency all an absolute must.
