JOB Role: Planning Engineer
Experience- 6+ years
Qualification :- B.E Civil
Preferred experience- Planning & Scheduling on MS Project, with School Building Projects and Good Knowledge of working on MS Projects.

Job Description:-
Technical Expertise
Prepare measurement sheet from onsite data & drawings
Check bills raised by the contractor. This includes on-site verification of measurement & verification of rates with Tender.
Get approval on vendors bill from Construction Manager and processing it for the payments as per company protocol
Quantity estimation from AutoCAD Drawings & analysis in SAP/ ERP Software. Planning and Scheduling on MS Project Software
To follow up on the accounts department for vendor payment
Review of bills of quantities and item lists
Value engineering to achieve functionality, safety, speed of execution and quality at lower costs by evaluation of different options
Cost planning and commercial management throughout the entire life cycle of the project from inception to post-completion
Coordination & Communication
Critical to coordinate with various vendor's QS In charge / Project Manager for all billing related works
In discussions with the Construction Manager, set Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Payment protocols for the billing process
Effective & clear communication with all contractors and vendors as per the protocols set for releasing the payments on time
Analyze and assess any issues in submitted bills and reconciliation statement and communicate the same to vendor for getting it corrected
Play a key role in managing any Billing and Planning issue or crises that may arise during implementation in close coordination with team members and support from the Construction Manager
Reworks and Crisis Management
Play a key role in managing any Billing and Planning issue or crises that may arise during implementation in close coordination with team members and support from the Construction Manager.
Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills:
Strong understanding of Construction Site Billing and Planning works
Strong understanding of dependencies of multiple activities of various agencies working in tandem
Strong interpersonal skills
Construction materials & practices knowledge
Strong understanding of multi-vendor and agency works
Good analytical skills
Attention to detail with unrelenting impetus on delivering quality at 1st attempt and avoiding reworks
Experience to analyze work requirements at various work pockets and be able to guide the vendor and contracting agencies on workforce deployment.
Should have good knowledge of latest technologies related to warehouse projects
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Should be a team guide and coordinate across functions to ensure compliance to project goals and timelines.
