Process Associate in Bookkeeping needs attention to detail, strong organizational skills, a good understanding of accounting principles, and proficiency in relevant software

Responsibilities
Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.
Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; and reconciling entries.
Recording accounting entries.
Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions.
Monitor any variances from the projected budget.
Maintains historical records by filing documents.
Prepares financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Providing excellent customer service, especially when dealing with clients or internal stakeholders, enhances the overall reputation of the bookkeeping service.

Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.
Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
Preferred
1 2 Years of experience in General Accounting, Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable.
Basic accounting knowledge, Data entry skills
Understanding accounting best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of XERO, Quickbooks, Zoho, Fresh Books, or other accounting applications is an added advantage.
