Job description

• Get the Customer's requirements from Sales to prepare Production Plan.
• Requisition and follow up with design department for the drawing and bill of material.
• Get updated drawings, BoM from design
• Check Material availability with Stores and status of Incoming Material with Purchase.
• Prepare Production weekly and daily Plan based on Customer's requirement, Production Backlog, Machine, Material and Manpower availability.
• Distribute production Plans or work orders to production departments.
• Prepare PPC Process Flow Chart, Work out Value and Non-valued Activities in the process, redesign PPC Process Cycle to reduce Non-added Activities and increase Process Efficiency. Follow LEAN principles to reduce Process Cycle Time.
• Procurement and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands.
• Review Material, WIP and FG Inventories for stock level. Take action to maintain Inventories as per the Norms.
• Review the Inventory of Non-moving, Slow moving Material, and take action to remove the Inventory.
• Issue Material Requisition (MRN) in-time to Stores.
• Ensure stores is issuing material in-time as per MRN to respective production shop.
• Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labour or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production, or engineering.
• Examine documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
• Record/Monitor respective work order status to accomplish the target within a given time.
• Co-ordinate with Production, Purchase, QC, Feeder-shop for getting goods for dispatch on time.
• Co-ordinate with Design for any changes, revisions required in Drawing as required by Sales, QC and Production.
• Review the status of Work Order Closure and take actions to close the orders.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015.
