Job location: Navi Mumbai / Rajkot
Main tasks and responsibilities: Develop a procurement strategy, objectives and processes for Castings and Forgings in line with the division’s strategies and in alignment with group procurement and Sulzer GSQ team Optimize and develop supply chain and suppliers in line with Castings & Forgings procurement strategy Administrate strategic supplier development and product ramp up projects and drive those together with Sulzer GSQ team Develop and maintain a high-performance culture in the function, resulting in continued success meeting KPI’s and improved levels of customer service to interior and exterior customers Provide specialist advice, guidance and service on casting and forging procurement to all division business units and functions Work across division matrix organization, in alignment with group procurement, learning and sharing best practices and balancing division and local impacts and needs Management of long-term partnerships with division key strategic suppliers, in alignment with group procurement based on quality, cost, service delivery and responsiveness Minimum Job Requirements: Educated to degree level in foundry technology, metallurgy, supply chain management or engineering, or equivalent skills true hands on work experience 5+ years’ work experience in investment foundry Operational management experience from Investment foundry (Manufacturing, methoding, die making or Quality) Project management skills Good communication skills MS Office skills Fluent in English, any other language an assetJob tags
