Job Overview
We are hiring for the position of Medical Billing. As a Medical Billing Executive, you will be responsible for accurately coding and submitting medical claims to insurance companies, following up on unpaid claims, and resolving any billing issues. This is a full-time position based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- - Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- - 1-3 years of experience in medical billing
- - Strong knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- - Proficiency in medical coding and billing terminology
- - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- - Strong communication skills in English
- - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- - Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Roles and Responsibilities
- - Accurately code and submit medical claims to insurance companies
- - Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve any billing issues
- - Verify the accuracy of patient demographic information
- - Review and reconcile patient accounts
- - Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim discrepancies
