Job description
1. Develop and edit engaging video content for various platforms including YouTube Facebook Instagram and other social media platforms in both regular (16:9) and vertical (9:16) formats.
2. Source curate and create original content and have expertise in Motion Graphics development.
3. Create storyboards and plan video edits according to the given guidelines to ensure a cohesive and impactful final product.
4. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the video content meets established standards and aligns with the overall objectives of the organization.
5. Collaborate effectively with the creative team to ensure that video content is of the highest quality incorporating feedback and suggestions for improvement.
6. Ensure that videos are optimized for the target platform and adhere to the required technical specifications including resolution aspect ratio and file formats.
7. Stay uptodate with the latest video editing techniques and trends constantly improving skills and knowledge in the field.
8. Maintain an organized library of all video content ensuring easy accessibility and efficient management of files.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to video editing software and equipment to ensure smooth workflow and minimize downtime.
10. Follow all safety rules and regulations when operating video equipment and software prioritizing the wellbeing of oneself and others.
11. Edit video footage by selecting and combining the most effective shots of each scene ensuring a smooth and seamless narrative flow.
12. Implement color correction audio mixing and other postproduction techniques to enhance the quality and impact of the video content.
13. Work closely with the Division Head to understand their vision and objectives and ensure that the final video products align with their desired results.
14. Meet project deadlines and ensure that all videos are completed on time effectively managing time and resources.
