Job description
cKers Finance (pronounced 'seekers') is an innovative sustainability finance company focused on offering specialized debt products for Energy and Resource Sustainability initiatives, including rooftop solar and electric vehicles.
cKers is looking to for a finance specialist to help expand its liability raising franchise and manage lender and investor relationships.
About cKers
cKers Finance ( aims to drive innovation in debt financing in areas related to Energy and Resource Sustainability. It invests in assets that will provide a higher return than what the market anticipates on a risk-adjusted basis. It has been launched by cKinetics and IIM Ahmedabad's Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship along with Infuse Ventures. It is also backed by the California Clean Energy Fund (CalCEF) and has partnered with the US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) to grow the sustainable energy space in India.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with Banks FIs and NBFCs for fundraising through diversified cost effective structures such as term loans, pool securitization, direct assignments and co-origination models.
- Resource planning and mobilization from multiple sources to meet the requirements of company lending and balance sheet growth program.
- Lead the Co-lending initiatives for the organization.
- Managing regulatory and lender specific compliances.
-Â Investor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for investor inquiries and requests. Prepare regular reports and updates for investors, highlighting key financial and operational milestones.
- Develop detailed financial models, projections, pitch decks to support fundraising initiatives and strategic decision-making.
- Preparation and Presentation on liquidity and market rate risk management for Senior Management /Board.
- Cash Management/Liquidity management, planning for filling the cash shortfall gaps and investing the surplus funds.
- Liaising with credit rating agencies for long-term and- short-term- ratings of the Company.
You must have
1. Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree or CA preferred).
2. 2-5 years of proven experience in fundraising, investor relations, and financial modeling within the BFSI sector
3. Strong understanding of financial concepts, investment strategies, and capital markets.
4. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and create accurate financial models.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive pitch decks and deliver impactful presentations.
6. Proficiency in financial modeling software and MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
