Overview:

A global food services brand is looking to hire an experience IT Category Manager who will be integral to shaping the trajectory of the brand. As the IT Category Manager, you will be at the core of the indirect procurement strategy, concentrating specifically on Systems & Technology

Your responsibilities will go beyond mere category management – they involve pioneering approaches and enhancing the brands footprint throughout UK & Ireland.

What the role involves:

1. Develop and lead on category sourcing strategies across.
2. Manage Information Services & Technology categories, driving efficiency.
3. Collaborate with global buying teams to align and implement global category strategies.
4. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
5. Management of projects and initiatives.
6. Maintain a focus on mitigation.

The person we hope to find:

1. Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in contract negotiation.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in category management.
3. CIPS qualification or working towards.
4. Flexibility for international travel where required; fluency in European languages is desirable but not essential.

Salary & Benefits:

• Up to £60,000 per annum
