Job Title: Senior BIM Coordinator - MEP

Job Location: Noida / Bangalore

Business Stream: Building & Property

Role Summary

As a BIM Coordinator - MEP for WSP India, you will be working on a large variety of fast paced Building service and MEP detailed design projects, and be able to manage and coordinate a large team of BIM modelers, achieving delivery schedules

Responsibilities

• Establish and agree upon a BIM Execution Plan, ensuring on-going compliance and continuous improvement.
• Oversee, coordinate, and manage BIM projects and teams.
• Provide internal BIM consultancy for projects.
• Manage processes, implementation, including shared parameters, view ports, sheets, work set associations etc., and manage all best practices and techniques of BIM and related tools.
• Determine, agree upon, and ensure the correct standards and naming conventions are followed.
• Create Revit and Bentley families, templates, and parts.
• Ensure smooth collaboration between the India and Middle East BIM teams through BIM 360, Collaboration for Revit.
• Prepare search sets and conduct clash detection using Navisworks manage, and other tools.
• Carry out daily/weekly global visual design reviews
• Communicate with the responsible BIM Manager, PMs, and Engineers to ensure project reporting and delivery.
• Monitor the progress of design to ensure it is according to planned schedule.
• Ensure continuous improvement through trainings to respective Modellers & Self.
• Investigate ways to enhance the companies' standings through R&D.
• Responsible to participate and support the Company's SHEQ within their scope of duties.
• Ensuring all Modellers updates are synced/uploaded to CDE as per an agreed schedule

Key Competencies / Skills

Mandatory Skills

· Knowledge in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM360, Collaboration for Revit.

· Advanced PC skills with the knowledge of all necessary Microsoft products

· Excellent BIM knowledge and interest in working on prestigious Civil, Building and MEP design projects.

· Successful candidate will possess excellent English verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels

Qualifications

· Completed a Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil with various software training certificates.
