GM / DGM - Occupational Health & Safety
Safety Lead is responsible to design and drive the company Occupational health & safety strategy, policies, operational effectiveness & assurance. Develop and execute occupational safety & health improvement plans and monitor the performance regularly through different Trends & Analytics and Monitoring systems, such as Joint Project safety plan, Periodic safety committee meetings, Inspection planning & Audits. It is also responsible to take various initiatives to improve safety culture & awareness across projects.
YOUR ROLE SPECIFICATIONS
Purpose of the job: To play an anchor role in designing, implementing, maintaining & upgrading OHS Mgmt. system and effectiveness evaluation of OHS.
Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Science or Engineering, with Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety / Health & safety, from the Central/State Technical Board or equivalent.
Experience: 12 to 15 years of work relevant industry experience

Key responsibility:
The incumbent will be custodian for OHS Policy & Process Development, Risk Mgmt. & Continual Improvement. As part of the roles & responsibilities for this role, the incumbent will be responsible for below:-
o Develop OHS Policy, Processes & Manual
o Collaborate with Execution staff , PMC & Contractor Mgmt. on OHS improvements & KPIs
o Rollout Project specific Project Safety Plans
o Site Audits in coordination with GILAC Corp. safety
o Effectiveness evaluation of OHS mgmt. system through different reviews
o OHS improvements through technological interventions
