The Opportunity
This opportunity is Worldline's Merchant Services Business Line which is a major international player in end-to-end Commercial Acquiring, Multichannel Payment Acceptance and Payment Terminal solutions. Merchant Services' unique combination of payment, digital and transactional expertise allows merchants to boost sales and enhance the customer experience.
We cover the full retail value chain, online and in-store, through a complete approach, delivering a real digital journey for retailers and their customers and facilitating consumer engagement, via seamless services, on any device – with payment at the heart of the shopping experience.
Such activities require sound strategic leader who can manage the entire product portfolio resulting in Strategic Partnerships.
Day-to-Day responsibilities:
- Strategic planning and management of the entire product portfolio.
- Definition and alignment of the vision, strategy and roadmap, in order to establish the company as a global supplier.
- Create and present visionary innovations (in front of investors or analysts), strategic decision proposals, as well as the calculation of business cases.
- Will be responsible for strategic partnerships and lead necessary contract negotiations.
- Will represent the company with regard to strategic customers, the press and analysts.
- Definition, monitoring of the company relevant KPIs and control of the measures to achieve the objectives set.
- Sales and profit and loss responsibility for the entire international business.
- Lead a product management team & will be responsible to motivate and achieve steady improvements in respective perimeter.
- Identification and promotion of high potentials and talents.
Who Are We Looking For
- 15+ years of experience in Product Development & Management, Resource Planning & Estimation, Plan Procurement Management, Risk Analysis & Mitigation, Client Relationship Management & Product Integration.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in the field of software, eCommerce, PayTech, marketing or product management. At least 5 years of leadership experience in an international environment and across multiple sites.
- Experienced in client relationship Management, Outsourced product development & Performance Tuning, Product Ideation/Conceptualization, Product Solutioning, Product Marketing, Product Success Management, and Product Life-cycle Management.
- Proficient in Product Documentation, Demos, and Workshops
- Great people skills paired with a high level of assertiveness.
- Excellent communication skills in English language in order to communicate with management and senior management as well as with employees and colleagues.
- Should possess strong analytical, strategic and coordinating skills.
- Should be a leader and an entrepreneur that people willingly follow.
- Should possess high motivational skills to also manage virtual teams.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of business and technology.
- Economic sciences, engineering or technician training with additional training in business administration is a big plus.
- A Product Management certification in accordance with Open Product Management Workflow™ is an advantage.
- Domain experience - Fintech/PayTech, Instore/Online business
- This role requires approximately 50% travel to customers, interested parties, roadshows, trade fairs, press events and analysts in India and worldwide.
