Strategy and Development
Create and implement best practice of maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
Create projects to reduce maintenance / BD costing. General and Task Management Effectively plan & delegate any mould, tool & fixture maintenance activity to His/ her peers to support daily/weekly or monthly production needs, especially SO needs. Adhere to daily and weekly tool up commitments to ensure smooth production and achieving desired OTP Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule for all tools, Moulds & fixtures in production. Effective planning of spare manufacturing and minimize machine down time due to spare unavailability. Audit and ensure compliance of the stipulated good engineering practices among his / her team as well as production team. Effectively schedule and execute both internal and external work(s) to minimize production down time. Follow up and maintain Maintenance tool room's machines heath and effectiveness by interacting with machine maintenance team regular basis. Taking Weekly and monthly discussion for maintenance and spare costing report with production team. Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors People Management Manage, coach and develop a high performing Maintenance team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements . Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports Manage and lead the team, ensuring adequate staffing levels Communicate KPIs from the strategic annual plan so that each employee is aware.Job tags
