The Junior Tax/Risk Application Developer will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, support and maintenance of java and web based applications.
The candidate must have hands on experience and knowledge of technologies including JBoss servers, Oracle and PostgreSQL database.
This position covers Java, Python, PL/SQL and web based applications within the Citco Ancillary Services IT group and reports to the Tax/Risk development lead
About You:
B.S. Computer Science or Mathematics preferred
M.S. Computer Science, Mathematics, or Finance a plus.
3 years hands-on experience in server-side Java application development a must.
Full-lifecycle application development experience a plus.
Trade accounting application development experience a plus.
Must have software engineering and application development background.
Should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Should have knowledge of Windows 10, UNIX (Solaris, Linux), basic networking
Must have excellent listening, questioning and analytic skills
Must have excellent telephone techniques/customer service skills
Must have excellent oral/written communication skills.
Must be able to maneuver effectively within environment. Demands may include additional hours within work environment during non-business hours.
