Job Location : Asangaon/Murbad (Thane)
Key Responsibilities: Perform quality control inspections on mechanical installations, equipment, and systems to ensure compliance with product specifications, codes, and standards. Conduct regular audits of work processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality procedures and best practices. Collaborate with other HODs, engineers, and contractors to develop and implement quality control plans and procedures specific to mechanical works. Review design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Document , make & review QAP , Manufacturing Process plan and implement Monitor the installation and testing of manufactured systems to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications. Perform inspections and tests on equipment, materials, and components to verify their compliance with applicable standards and specifications. Document and report non-conformities, deviations, and deficiencies in mechanical installations and equipment and recommend corrective actions. Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address quality issues and implement preventive measures. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to mechanical quality control. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 0 -15 years of experience in mechanical quality control or a similar role. Strong knowledge of mechanical codes, standards, and regulations. Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Experience conducting inspections and tests on mechanical systems and equipment. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Relevant certifications or training in quality control and mechanical standards are an advantage.Job tags
