Position: Senior Manager/ Manager- Maintenance (O n contractual basis for a year, Extendable)
Location: Kutch, Gujarat

Experience: A t Least 20 years. (Maintenance Related coal/lignite based thermal power plants)
Qualification: BE/ B. Tech (preference to Electrical/Mechanical)/ Diploma can be considered
Job Responsibilities:
- Support to the Project Head of the Power Plant in overseeing and managing day-to-day maintenance activities of the coal/lignite based thermal power plant.
- Advise and coordinate with the maintenance team of client to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Ensure plant maintenance as per agreed norms in short term and medium term.
- Advice the activities of personnel assigned to the Maintenance Department to ensure that generating requirements and plant efficiency are maintained, and that safety and operational environmental standards are met.
- Suggest/ Advise to Project Head in technical and administrative challenges related to operations and maintenance in the plant
- Assist Project Head in developing annual maintenance budgets.
- Assist in the investigation of plant problems, incidents, accidents, and unusual events, and provide analyses, recommendations, reports, and appropriate follow-up plans.
- Suggestions for Enforcing and maintaining strict safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
- Suggestions for compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards in the power sector.
- Provide training and guidance to the maintenance team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct inspections of boilers, pressure vessels, turbine, generator, and auxiliary equipment during forced and annual outages along with Project Head .
- Planning and coordination in Annual Overhauling activities
- Provide all kind of technical support as needed by Project head of the Power Plant
Required skill set
- In-depth knowledge of thermal power plant maintenance related work, especially in coal/lignite-based facilities.
- Strong understanding of power generation processes, equipment, and systems.
- Proficiency in utilizing monitoring and control systems.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining safety protocols.
- Familiarity with local and national regulations governing power plant operations.
- Should be able to plan, manage and carry out assignments, making optimum use of company resources and achieve high levels of client satisfaction.
- Excellent ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
