Overview The LegalZoom Experience Design (XD) community is focused on leveraging our craft to make our mission of democratizing law a delightful and intuitive experience for our customers. We are actively looking for a Product Designer who will make data-driven decisions that translate business goals into simple and elegant user-centric experiences. We're hiring for multiple roles across various initiatives. We’re looking for a motivated and entrepreneurial individual to match the culture of our in-house XD team. As a dedicated member of the team you will be responsible for the customer experience for major strategic initiatives. You will You’re a well rounded product design expert with experience spanning web and mobile. You’re obsessed with designing simple, elegant, data-driven, user-centric experiences that delight users. Responsibilities for the role include: Solve customer problems by synthesizing behavioral information and imagining things as they might be, not as they are Define the user experience, interactions, and user interface through user flows, information architecture, sketches and wireframes, and visual design Conceptualize a broad spectrum of ideas and then narrow based on experimentation and customer research Solicit feedback and contribute constructively to design reviews Advance a strong point of view, backed up by personal expertise, design rationale, customer data, and industry trends Work on multiple projects at one time, using strong communication skills to manage time and expectations appropriately Create a bold vision and propose game changing ideas in areas of ownership Influence cross-functional partners to focus efforts on strategic, customer-back innovations that have the largest business impact Help maintain visual and brand consistency between all products and outlets Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business goals into unique product experiences You have 8+ years of experience in interaction design, product design, service design, or related field Ideally a bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or other relevant field. Expertise in conveying ideas and concepts through storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping Deep knowledge of design principles and methods Curiosity and commitment to testing new ideas and innovating to drive business results Effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator Mastery of design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite A comprehensive online portfolio demonstrating your strong craft and collaborative processJob tags
