Job Description : As a cutting-edge provider in our industry, we rely on robust databases to fuel our operations and insights. We are seeking a talented and experienced Database Administrator to join our team and play a pivotal role in maintaining, optimizing, and securing our database infrastructure.Responsibilities :- Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and Azure SQL databases.- Perform database installations, configurations, upgrades, and migrations.- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for efficiency and scalability.- Implement and maintain database security protocols and procedures.- Develop and enforce data backup and recovery strategies.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development and deployment.- Create and maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in database administration.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- Proven experience as a Database Administrator, with expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and Azure SQL.- Strong understanding of database management principles, including normalization, indexing, and query optimization.- Hands-on experience with database installation, configuration, and administration.- Familiarity with database security best practices and techniques.- Experience with database backup and recovery procedures.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate) are a plus.
