Job description
Roles & Responsibilities :
Study, Identify & Implement Just In Time / Productivity Improvement Projects to improve efficiencies in all areas of operations including shopfloor, covering the following: - Analysis of as is condition - Identification of Losses/ Efficiency Improvement areas/ opportunities - Conceptualizing and planning the projects, including capacity enhancement - Developing project plans including resource requirements, timelines, improvement targets - Liasoning with other teams as required at conceptual, planning & execution stages - Getting necessary Project Plans & Budget approvals - Managing and executing the projects to approved deliverables - Plan & manage pipeline of Projects to meet company's production & efficiency improvement targets Key Result Area : - Achievement of Company's efficiency improvement targets through continuous identification of JIT projects and management of Projects pipeline - Planning & Execution of Projects to approved Deliverables - Create a company-wide culture of Lean Operations Key Functional Skills : 1. JIT / TPS/ Flow based Manufacturing concepts (Losses; Autonomation; Multi-machine Manning; Pokayoke; SMED Principles 2. Knowledge of Casting, Machining, Assembly Manufacturing & Quality Processes 3. Industrial Engineering Knowledge (Time Study,) 4. Project Planning Preferred Candidates : 1. Atleast 10 years experience in Production / Industrial Engineering. Expereinced in application of JIT/ TPS/ Flow based Manufacturing principles. Experience in working in Japanese companies / with Japanese experts preferred. International/TS working environment preferred. Team Management experience desirable. 2. Fluency in native language and willing to relocateJob tags
