Overview:
To lead market origination and new business development for RESCO/OPEX solutions for C&I
consumers on pan India basis. The role would also include assisting the team in Capex business
development as and when required. Position will be based in Mumbai.
Job description:
∙Lead origination for C&I segment, nurturing and advancing leads, studying solar power
requirement of the consumer and designing solutions for them.
∙Making offers / proposal to the client and negotiating term sheet and PPA. Offer Capex based
solutions wherever customer requires.
∙Engage with project development team to ensure timely permissions for the project and
documentation at customer end.
∙Build a network of channel partners to bring new leads.
∙Develop market intelligence and keep track of prevailing tariffs, group captive and open
access regulations.
Required Skills:
∙Superb understanding of group captive, third party sale and open access regulations -
especially in MH, GJ, TN, KN states.
∙Demonstrated capability to originate and close deals. Track record of closing minimum 100
MW PPAs for solar .
∙Very good negotiation skills.
∙Strong project management and people skills.
∙Excellent communication and coordination skills.
∙Ability to deal with multiple teams and senior management.
Work Experience & Qualification:
∙Engineering graduate from a reputed institute (Electrical engineer preferred) or MBA in
renewable energy
∙Minimum 12 years post-qualification experience in power / renewable sector, of which
minimum last 3 years should have been spent in solar business development
∙Knowledge of PPA terms, SHA/SSA structure and terms for group captive
