Job description
The Deputy delivery hub manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operations of the delivery hub. They will ensure efficient processes, problem-solving, inventory control, and accuracy, while managing a team and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize process knowledge and problem-solving skills to improve overall delivery hub operations.
- Identify and address errors or issues in the receiving process, including wrong GRN identification.
- Control in-store inventory shrinkage i.e. shortage, damages, expiry to minimize losses.
- Improve the putaway efficiency and productivity with zero errors.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and implement effective inventory control measures i.e. elimination of inbound and picking errors to ensure zero physical v/s system mismatch.
- Control picking errors, such as missing items, wrong items, or damages.
- Simulate planned versus actual volumes to ensure optimum utilization of resources.
- Ensuring the availability of delivery partners based on projection numbers at the delivery hub and keeping them motivated during the operations.

- Monitor and optimize last mile metrics, including OPH ( Order per hour ), CPO ( Cost per order ) in order to achieve the desired planned numbers.
2. SKILL SET: - Proficiency in MS Excel, G-Sheets, and WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Ability to handle and resolve conflicts.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- People management and leadership skills.
- High Bar of ownership & Bias for action.
3 . PEOPLE MANAGEMENT: - Demonstrate strong leadership skills in managing direct reports.
- Address salary and payout issues promptly and effectively.
- Establish and maintain a feedback mechanism to identify strengths and weaknesses.
- Make tough decisions and calls when necessary.
- Address performance issues and implement improvement plans.
4 . STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, HR, Finance, Planning, Category, Compliances, and to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
5. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS : - Qualification: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations/ customer fulfillment Operations/First-mile/Last-mile/Middle-mile Operations/Manufacturing.
- Strong problem-solving and data analytical skills.
