Inviting applications for the role of Process Developer, Commercial Risk
You should have a good English language level and have a fair understanding of accounting processes in order to be successful in this role.
Responsibilities
- Resolve commercial credit worthiness of customers and prospects, to drive smart sales solutions across the business. Bring together data (demographic, industry, regional, and financial). Use risk models to perform credit analytics to understand default risk, recommend commercial credit limits, and settle trade terms. On an ongoing basis, analyze and assess default risk across the Industrial AR portfolio while driving action to mitigate the credit risk in a collaborative manner with cross-functional teams. Present credit findings to varying levels of leadership across the business. The ultimate purpose of this role is to protect business revenue and drive healthy cash flow.
- Perform timely credit risk analysis on prospects and existing commercial customers as prompted by queuing structures, portfolio monitoring, and strategic direction
- Run the credit services for the businesses supporting credit reviews, customer set up (customer master) & order release.
- Effectively communicate credit findings to the responsible deal team/requestor in the Industrial business and prove a plan of action to mitigate and/or limit the credit risk
- Navigate effectively within multiple credit tools, receivable systems and internal processes to deliver accurate and timely credit risk recommendations.
- Maintain high standards of data quality within the data sets for credit risk models and external reporting
- Facilitate problem resolution and process optimization as it relates to risk platform interfaces and data quality
- Support flawless new client onboarding and meeting ongoing service level agreement requirements
- Ensure execution of the Industrial Risk policy and adherence to established delegation of authorities by the businesses
- Other tasks assigned by Manager or applicable leadership
Qualifications!
Minimum qualifications
- University graduate in a related field (Economic/Accounting and Finance studies are an advantage)
- Excellent command of English and Arabic French would also be an asset
- Experience in credit risk management and analysis experience
- Proficient understanding of financial statements and trending financial data
- Industrial product and industry knowledge, commercial risk management or lending experience is a plus
- Well-rounded understanding of Excel and PowerPoint
