Job Description: Network Engineer Location: Bangalore, KA Duration: Full Time
Please Note: This job Required to work in night Shift Job Responsibilities Provide world class post-sales technical support and consulting to our network test solutions customers in the Americas. Assist customers with the operation and configuration of hardware/virtual test equipment and software with an emphasis on Layer 2-3 products. Delight customers with timely and effective technical support Effectively work and communicate with worldwide support, sales, engineering, and product management teams. Write detailed technical white papers and knowledge-based articles. Required Qualifications: BE or ME in Computer/Electrical Engineering, 3+ years of experience with a focus on Internet/Networking technologies. Solid understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, ISIS, MPLS, Multicast etc) and data networking technology. Experience working with packet analyzers – Wireshark / tcpdump Ability to analyze test plans and network topology diagrams. Write detailed technical white papers and knowledge-based articles. Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) Availability to work in the evening shift. Network certification (CCNA, CCNP or equivalent) Additional Qualifications: Experience with virtualization/cloud environment (deployment & troubleshooting VMs): VMWare, AWS, Azure, KVM. Unix/Linux OS experience. Linux CLI debugging / admin experience – permissions, file system, logging, networking. Automation skills (TCL, C, Python, or other programming language) Basic knowledge of clustering and containers. Knowledge of broadband access technologies like DHCP, PPPoE etc.Job tags
