General Maintenance Specialist Maximize production line utilization by ensuring minimum breakdown and failure of support equipment comprising of HVAC, ETP, Fire System, Domestic Water System, Compressed air system and other utilities. Ensure safety standards in terms of guarding, interlocking and all other aspects of EHS are strictly adhered to and are maintained throughout on support equipment . - Maintain a high level of housekeeping within the Utility department
- Support production to ensure that quality standards are met in adherence to ISO requirements and remedial action taken where necessary.
- Form part of a cohesive leadership team, including maintenance, shift leaders and other departments as required.
- Take a leading role in the Utility department and it's operators/operations through the necessary day to day activities and future planning of company objectives.
- Assist in the Facility management & Plant Engineering which includes Gas station, Chiller, Compressor, HVAC, ETP system, Fire Alarm System, Fire Hydrant and sprinkler system, domestic water system, plumbing & sanitary system, STP, Water cooler, Water heater & all entry/exit doors in the Plant.
- Maintain accurate records of Utility parameters.
- Develop, in conjunction with others, working methods and systems to continuously improve safety, product quality, efficiency and waste.
- Implement a 5S based system to housekeeping within the Utility department
