Job description
smartSense is looking for someone who understands the importance of user experience and front-end technology ReactJS. The candidate will empathize with the struggles of end-users and advocate on their behalf. S/he gets excited by solving design challenges with other developers, building reusable components, and then continuing to improve those designs and componentsResponsibilitiesDesigning, implementing, and maintaining user interfaces for our web applications from initial concepts through the final productConceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness from a complex ideaDevelop and connect our front-end components with databases through REST APIDesign & develop reusable module-based and service-based architectureFollow Industry standards & best practices during the developmentWrite optimized & clean codeWrite unit tests for the web appManage projects in multiple environments like development, QA & production for the release cycleWork in a team environmentClient communicationExpectationsProficient in frontend technologies ReactJs, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, SCSSExperience with popular React.Js workflows such as Flux and ReduxAdvanced knowledge and understanding of React.Js, it's core principles and architectureFamiliarity with ES6/ES7, UI components library (such as material-UI or Bootstrap), and REST APIsKnowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.Familiar with testing frameworks (Ex.
