Job Summary: Exzellens Motors, a leading automotive manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Electrical Engineer with a strong interest in solar technology to join our Solar Energy Division. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solar energy systems for our manufacturing facilities and other company locations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate solar technology into our automotive operations, contributing to our sustainability goals and promoting the adoption of renewable energy solutions. Responsibilities: Design and develop solar energy systems, including solar PV (photovoltaic) systems, for Exzellens Motors' manufacturing facilities and other company locations. Conduct feasibility studies to assess the technical and economic viability of solar energy projects, including site assessments, energy production estimates, and financial analyses. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and external partners, to integrate solar technology into automotive operations. Prepare detailed system specifications, electrical drawings, and engineering reports for solar energy projects. Oversee the installation, commissioning, and performance monitoring of solar energy systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Perform electrical system design and analysis, including power distribution, protection coordination, and grounding. Conduct performance testing, monitoring, and analysis of solar energy systems to optimize performance and troubleshoot issues. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in solar energy technology, electrical codes, and industry best practices. Provide technical support and expertise to internal stakeholders on solar energy system design, operation, and maintenance. Collaborate with regulatory agencies and utilities to ensure compliance with grid interconnection requirements and secure incentives or rebates for solar projects.
