Intern - AI Research (Remote, Voluntary, Part-Time) - 12 weeks
As an Intern in AI Research at our organisation, you will embark on an exciting journey at the forefront of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Your primary role will be to curate and manage a diverse range of tools, platforms, and large language models (LLMs), focusing on extracting valuable insights that can be translated into actionable strategies for product development. Key Responsibilities 1. Tool and Platform Curation: Research and identify cutting-edge AI tools and platforms. Evaluate their capabilities, strengths, and limitations to understand how they can be effectively utilized in our product development cycle. 2. Large Language Model (LLM) Analysis: Work with various LLMs, understanding their functionalities and potential applications. Experiment with these models to derive innovative solutions and insights relevant to our products. 3. Insight Generation: Analyse data and trends from AI tools and LLM outputs. Synthesise this information to generate meaningful, actionable insights that can influence product development strategies and decision-making processes. 4. Collaborative Research: Engage in collaborative research efforts with the team, contributing to discussions and brainstorming sessions. Share findings and learnings effectively with team members. 5. Weekly Reporting: Prepare and present weekly reports detailing research findings, insights gained, and recommendations for product development. Ensure these reports are clear, concise, and provide value to the team. 6. Staying Informed: Keep abreast of the latest developments in AI, machine learning, and related fields. Attend webinars, workshops, and other educational opportunities to continuously enhance your knowledge and skills. 7. Feedback and Improvement: Provide feedback on the tools and platforms used, suggesting improvements or alternatives that could benefit the research process and product development. Qualifications - Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field. - Strong interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and technology. - Familiarity with AI tools and platforms is preferred. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Good communication skills, both written and verbal. - Proficiency in English. Commitment: - This is a part-time, remote role requiring a commitment of 6 per week. - The position is voluntary, offering invaluable experience and knowledge in the field of AI research.Job tags
