Our company is actively seeking a skilled and dynamic Business Development Manager for Government Business in Gujarat. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in developing government relationships, particularly with panchayats and municipalities. Join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our government business endeavors.
Job Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders, focusing on Panchayats and Municipalities.
· Identify, pursue, and secure business opportunities in water, energy, and waste management projects .
· Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet government project requirements.
· Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and facilitate the bidding process for government tenders.
· Need to be flexible for traveling in multiple places in Gujarat and out of Gujarat as well.
· Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies relevant to the government sector.
· Achieve revenue targets and contribute to the overall growth of the organization.
Must have skills:
· Knowledge water, energy, and waste management projects
· Government tendering & selling experience.
· Should be open to travel domestically.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Required Abilities & Skills:
· Punctual & Disciplined
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Negotiation and deal-closing abilities.
· Proven track record in business development with government units, particularly in Panchayats and Municipalities.
· Strong network and interactions with government officers at various levels.
· Experience in understanding and working with water, energy, and waste management projects.
· Successful deals and projects related to water meters, Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Water Treatment Plants (WTP), and water quality initiatives.
· Knowledge & Proficiency in energy management, SCADA, IoT automation, and related technologies.
· Familiarity with government tendering processes and budgeting
Experience:· 3 + Years of experience
· Proven experience in business development within the government sector.
Education Qualification:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
Working Hours:
· 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 2:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday to Friday
