Job description

Our company, the best-in-class products with cost-saving solutions is looking for an experienced Master Toolmaker to be part of our Office Team in Mexico.

Our Master Toolmaker will Lead a team of toolmakers for the assembly of molds. We are seeking An experienced professional with hands-on experience in Mold Assembly, Mold maintenance, Hot-runner systems, Tool Trials, and troubleshooting.

Our MT will Manage the day-to-day operations of the tool assembly section, will conduct a Tool maintenance program for preventive, predictive maintenance. Support break-down maintenance. Able to handle all conventional machines and die-spotting press. Hands-on Knowledge of mold polishing. Expertise in-mold trails and prove-out.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Engineers and Tool-makers to achieve production targets
• Plan & execute Tool assembly schedules.
• Identification of potential tool spare & managing the inventory between minimum and
• maximum level.
• Management of tool room activities as per IATF 16949, establishing safety standards, timely
• review & update department documents as per standard.
• Should have exposure to implementing WCM practices, Lean manufacturing, TPM, Continual
• improvements.
• Participation in Design review to ensure that the molds meet customer specifications.
• Participation in New mold trials, suggestions, corrections & effective implementation in order to
• smoothen the production right from inception.
• Ability to train all members in machining and tool maintenance principles
• update Ability to manage new technology to improve tool room efficiency.

Requirements

• A Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Tool Engineering with 10-20 years of experience in
• Mold Assembly and Maintenance
• Should possess Excellent People Management and Communication Skills
• Knowledgeable in various machining and Heat-Treatment processes
• Conversant with MS Office tools
• Ability to make presentations and reports to management as required
