The role will include support duties for the commercial excellence, commercial & shopper marketing function. Sales Analyst will play a critical role in collating & analyzing customer data, owning GTR Master data and support driving automation and integration of internal systems & tools. They will support commercial team with regular reporting requirements and measure the effectiveness of customer investment. The role will also be supporting the global commercial excellence projects based on the GTR strategic objectives.
Role Responsibilities
- Be an active member of the Travel Retail team, develop a good understanding of the overall sales/ marketing plans, customer base and commercial business cycle, contributing with fresh ideas & initiatives.
- Translate external data into actionable insights and present complex information simply, easily, and clearly.
- Support commercial team with generating meaningful reports to help drive rate of sale and forecasting accuracy.
- Support with implementing new systems and projects (G2N,TPM/TFM), and ensure their integration with existing tools.
- Own post-production maintenance of GTR tools & systems.
- Maintain CRM tools (Sales Force) in the market.
- Own master Depletion Data and other external data (category data provided by customers, other market data), collect & build own repository of the source files.
- Maintain product mapping & customer hierarchies.
- Act as link between market and Global IT team to support systems integration and business continuity.
- Lead the development of additional tools / dashboards/ reports based on current business needs.
- Champion the usage of available tools & systems, provide support to Commercial, Shopper Marketing & Retail Execution teams on systems’ functionalities & their use.
- Support various commercial excellence projects based on Global priorities and market strategy.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical skills & ability to operate large sets of data
- Able to partner well cross-functionally and in a diverse team set up
- Strong presentation & analytical skills with ability to identify connections and deliver insights
- BI (Brand Investment) tool understanding and ability to independently develop Powe BI dashboards
- Attention to detail
- Able to work independently and use initiative to solve problems
- Ability to learn quickly and retain extensive knowledge regarding regions, territories, product lines, and account
- Min 5+ years prior experience in sales analyst/data engineering or other similar role
- Able to demonstrate analysis leading to insight
- Expert in Microsoft Office (Excel / Word / PowerPoint)
- Experience with PowerBI (report building) is a must
- Experience in Global Travel Retail Market is a benefit
