Job description
Roles/Responsibilities
Apply strong domain knowledge in areas of Marketing performance metrics, marketing funnel, marketing attribution etc and drive visibility into marketing performance return on investment
Conceptualise new reports / dashboards and work with different cross functional units to deliver on them
Work independently with global stakeholders to gather requirements, drive consensus around data /metrics/KPI s
Research industry best practices and implement them for marketing reports/dashboards
Produce marketing performance metrics / reports on regular / on-demand basis for all marketing teams and regions
Produce Weekly Scorecards and Quarterly Business Review reports / decks to be shared with executives
Create enablement material and conduct sessions / office hours to train global user community on data, metrics dashboards and maintain documentation for data terminology and processes
Strong knowledge of Salesforce, Google Analytics, Marketo, Demandbase to support a broad view of the full funnel performance to analyze data and build reports
Work with other organizations such as IT as part of delivering marketing dashboards on Qlik.
Use Excel to build models/reports using pivots, formulas, macros, conditional formatting etc
Build mockups / wireframes for Marketing reports / dashboards and drive agreements on them
Root cause and fix issues in data, process to enable effective reporting
Work on multiple projects at the same time
Presents results of data analysis and makes recommendations for improvements in processes and programs
Collaborate with and provide support to global field and demand teams with data queries to source and process data for programs
Education
Bachelors in business or Marketing preferred or equivalent professional experience
Experience
Minimum 5 years of data analysis BI / reporting experience, preferable in Marketing or Sales
Strong domain knowledge of Marketing performance metrics, demand waterfall, marketing attribution, CMO dashboards etc
Great with data high level of proficiency with Excel, ability to manipulate data in excel using pivots, formulas, macros, conditional formatting etc
Good understanding of SFDC and hands on experience working with SFDC reports, data, objects etc
Experience with presenting data, insights and recommendations based on analysis
Skills
PowerPoint skills for creating metrics slides / decks
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong knowledge of SFDC
Strong Work Ethic, self-starting attitude, demonstrated flexibility, and a collaborative style with the objective of building strong relationships with diverse internal groups
Communication Skills - Strong verbal, organizational and written communication
Knowledge of Automation platforms (Eloqua, HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, or similar) - Marketo Preferred
Experience working with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics
Knowledge of data visualization best practices and working with tools like Qlik, Tableau, Power BI (Qlik preferred)
Predominantly work under Pacific business hours
