Job Description

As a Research Engineer – Carbon Capture Systems, you will do hands-on work on technology programs in development and research of advanced carbon capture systems. You will work on concepts to integrate, improve performance and operability of various carbon capture systems. You will interact with technologists and engineers to deliver novel solutions for complex, multi-disciplinary problems in the broad area of decarbonization. This is a high impact and high visible role with tight deadlines requiring extremely quick turn-around times, often needing to work with limited inputs/data and huge opportunities for creativity and innovation.

Roles And Responsibilities
 Process modelling of low-carbon energy technologies including advanced power cycle, (supercritical CO2 cycle), refrigeration cycle, blue hydrogen generation system, fuel cell/electrolyser, carbon-capture technologies including liquid-solvent, adsorption technologies, and energy storage
 Techno-economic analysis and optimization of the energy systems.
 Heat integration and preliminary sizing of heat exchangers, turbomachinery, and
valves.
