Role And Responsibilities As a Dy/Manager -Contractor's Safety (CSMS), you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of Contractor Safety Management System (CSMS) and ensuring the safety of contract workers. Your key responsibilities include:
- Formulating policy decisions based on new requirements and learnings related to CSM implementation
- Providing input to senior management on the status of CSM deployment
- Supporting and providing resources for the deployment of CSM standards across all divisions
- Conducting site visits at contractor working sites
- Monthly review of CSM standard deployment across the organization
- Hand holding new contractors and participating in the bidding process
- Organizing CSMS meetings
- Ensuring effective functioning of CSMS AIC
- Establishing a system for local operations teams to provide feedback on contractor safety performance and share information within each division
- Ensuring that contractors selected to conduct work have Safety Management systems that align with company Health and Safety policy
Candidate Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 5-7 years of experience in CSM implementation
- Experience in handling 5000 plus contract workmen
