Job description
Position: Member/ Lead Member – Controls Design (Hardware Electrical Design) Location: Shirwal Education: BE/Diploma – Electrical, Electronics and Instrumentations Experience: 8-17 yrs for Lead Member level Preferrable Application segment experience: • Material Handling Conveyor Systems • Robotic integration systems; Gantry Systems • Powertrain assembly lines and e mobility projects in automotive industry.
• Job Profile: • Electrical architecture preparation as per customer’s standards. • Preparation of the electrical drawings for the systems. • System Hardware design, Control Panel design, Component Selection of switchgears, relays, arrays and sensors. • Calculations of Electrical system • Preparation of BOM (bill of Material) • Prepare a high-level flow cart per the software architecture. • Prepare a sequence of operation for systems as conceptualized by the Leader or Lead Member. • Testing of a design system on the shop floor if required • Should work on PLCs / CNCs, HMIs, drives, servo, etc. for concept proving. To participate in technical meetings with customer Project & Controls Team and understand the technical requirements & customer's standards. Required Skill Set: • Knowledge of Control Panel components and their selection, Computer Savvy. • Knowledge of Electrical Drawing, Electrical Calculation, Control BOM Selection, should have work experience on PLCs / CNCs, HMIs, drives, servo, etc. • Hands on experience on E Plan. • Knowledge of Electrical, Instrumentation & Electronics engineering, Pneumatic & Hydraulics. • Knowledge of Fieldbus like Ethernet TCP/IP, Profibus, Profinite, Serial Communication Schematic Diagram, Signal Line Diagram, Generation of Terminal Detail. • The application-specific knowledge is required for the following application • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Experience with Excel, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Teams. • Knowledge of Engineering Standards such as safety, electrical, and pneumatic (OSHA, NEC, NFPA, UL) Meeting • Kickoff meeting / Budget signoff meeting • CDRM / Software signoff meeting / AK1 to AK2 signoff meeting • DAP meeting with Customer • Meeting with Bought out suppliersJob tags
