Job description

SAS AML Business Analyst

 

1.  Strong experience in AML Transaction Monitoring & KYC (CDD/CRR) domain.
2.  7+ years of experience in working as AML Business Analyst & Data Analyst in the SAS AML suite of applications.
3. Strong experience in SAS VI, alert management and analytical reports
4.  Strong experience in designing transaction monitoring scenarios & validating the results. Able to investigate the breaks & root cause analysis of missing alerts, false positives.
5. Experience in Customer Due Diligence/Customer Risk Rating solution, able to define & recommend CDD/CRR scenarios/risk factors.
6.  Hands-on experience in developing data mapping documents.
7. Hands-on experience in defining data transformation logic as per business requirements when mapping data from source to target.
8.  Well-experienced with writing SQL queries for data analysis and debugging purposes.
9.  Hands-on experience in working with users to understand, document, and define business requirements and prepare Functional Specifications Documents.
10.  Strong customer interaction skills and the ability to assess a client’s IT processes and strategies.
11.  Work with development team to ensure the implementation of business requirements is accurate and as per expectations.
12. Validate the system implementations during the SIT and UAT phases of the software development lifecycle.
13.  Experience in AML monitoring tools like SAS 8.x, SAS Viya, SAS VI is a must.
14. Mature, self-starting, self-motivating, and capable of making decisions independently.
