Job description

Lab Setup and Maintenance: You will be responsible for setting up the lab equipment, ensuring that it is in proper working condition, and maintaining an organized and clean lab environment. This includes ensuring that all robotics and AI equipment, such as robots, sensors, and computers, are available and functioning correctly. 2. Inventory Management : You will be responsible for maintaining inventory management of the robotics & AI kits with their components, assign kits to the students as per the timetable and keep accounting of the kits when kits are given back at the end of the class. Keep accounting of the kits and its spares, update online to the inventory system, report any brakeage (with pictures), missing parts, generate reports on daily basis about the stock and inventory, raise request for repair, spares, coordinate with the OEM for repair or replacement of parts, manage inventory of the spares, reports for missing parts 3. Assisting with Experiments and Projects: You will support students and teachers in conducting robotics and AI experiments and projects. This may involve providing technical guidance, explaining concepts, assisting with programming, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and ensuring students' safety during experiments. 4. Training and Workshops: You may conduct training sessions and workshops for students and teachers to help them understand the basics of robotics and AI. This can include teaching programming languages, demonstrating the use of various tools and software, and explaining the underlying principles of robotics and AI technologies. 5. Curriculum Development: Collaborating with teachers, you may assist in developing curriculum and educational materials related to robotics and AI. This can involve researching new educational resources, creating lesson plans, and designing projects that align with the school's curriculum objectives. 6. Supervision and Safety: Ensuring the safety of students in the lab is crucial. You will need to enforce safety protocols, provide instructions on handling equipment safely, and supervise students during lab sessions to prevent accidents or misuse of equipment. 7. Equipment Inventory and Procurement: You will be responsible for maintaining an inventory of robotics and AI equipment, monitoring its usage, and coordinating with the school administration for the procurement of new equipment or replacement parts as needed. 8. Collaboration and Support: You will collaborate with other teachers, staff, and external partners to organize robotics competitions, events, or field trips. Additionally, you may provide support to other teachers integrating robotics and AI into their classrooms, offering guidance on incorporating these technologies into their lessons. 9. Research and Development: Staying updated with the latest advancements in robotics and AI is important. You may engage in personal research, attend workshops or conferences, and explore innovative technologies and applications to enhance the lab's offerings and inspire students. Remember that the specific responsibilities may vary depending on the school's curriculum, resources, and the grade levels you are supporting. It's also important to be adaptable, patient, and have good communication skills to effectively assist students and teachers in the lab. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Experience in robotics, artificial intelligence, and programming Knowledge of Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other related hardware and software Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work with K-12 students and teachers Experience with conducting workshops and training for students and teachers in coding, programming, and robotics Ability to communicate ideas and instructions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiencesJob tags
