Job description
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Engineer to join our dynamic team in the chemical manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing plant operations, ensuring safety and compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. As a Production Engineer, he will be responsible for overseeing the product production, facility design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment and processes within our chemical manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities: Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes based on SOP’s to enhance efficiency, yield, and product quality. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement cost-effective solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and minimize production bottlenecks. Scale-up of lab-developed product to Manufacturing level at a third-party facility. Equipment Management: Lead the design, installation, and commissioning of new equipment and systems. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and longevity of machinery. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify equipment issues and implement corrective actions. Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all plant operations comply with industry safety standards, regulations, and environmental guidelines. Develop and implement safety protocols and training programs for plant personnel. Conduct risk assessments and take proactive measures to prevent accidents and incidents. Project Management: Manage Production projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints. Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to achieve project objectives. Provide technical expertise and support for capital projects and plant expansions. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall plant performance. Utilize data and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Foster a culture of innovation and efficiency within the Production team.Job tags
