Job description

The Sponsorship Sales Executive/ Manager will be responsible for selling sponsorship opportunities into the GTR portfolio of products. Our events take place in largely in Europe and North America.
You'll be selling multi-channel sponsorship opportunities across clean energy and transmission-related events.
You will work closely with the relevant Conference Producer and Head of sponsorships in maximising the conference sponsorship revenue.
You will be responsible for the execution of B2B sponsorship sales campaigns. You are an ambitious yet sociable individual who wants to grow in a role alongside an energetic, entrepreneurial, and vibrant team.
Job-specific skills/knowledge:
- Min 1-2 years experience in B2B conference sponsorship, exhibition or event sales, ideally in the energy sector
- Experience in working with the US and European markets is an advantage
- Knowledge of the conference industry is a distinct advantage
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
Writing proposals and negotiating contracts
- Excellent command of written and spoken (business) - English – other languages is an advantage.
- Sound commercial awareness, excellent organizational skills
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects to tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Highly motivated and proactive
- Strong sense of urgency and results orientation
