Job description
QC or Inspectors' duties include monitoring the quality of the materials used, inspecting any defects and discrepancies that might compromise the operations, generating reports to assess the product costing if it meets the budget goals, and utilizing available resources in the market for the highest quality project.
Job Description:
1) Closely communicate with the Inspection Coordinators to schedule the inspection assigned.
2) Understand mechanical drawings and inspect materials and products as per drawing.
3) Visit 3 rd party vendors and inspect materials before dispatch as per company requirements.
4) Read blueprints and specifications.
5) Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
6) Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
7) Inspect, test, or measure materials.
8) Implement inspection according to operation guidelines, inspection guidelines, and any special instructions
provided by the company.
9) Complete inspection report with photos and submit it to the Technical Manager within the required time limit.
10) Conduct a thorough in-house inspection of the product and material after production and before dispatch to the
client.
11) Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/management.
Requirements:
- College graduate or above.
- Major in Engineering ( Preferably Mechanical)
- Having more than 1 year more working experience in the inspection field or quality control background of
Engineering products.
-Understanding of mechanical drawings.
-Understanding of production procedures.
- Familiar with the AQL standard and good knowledge of safety and regulation standards.
- Good command of written & oral English.
- Ideal person is a well-organized team player, able to solve on-site problems independently, and with good
interpersonal skills.
- Integrity and honesty.
- Willing to travel frequently.
Job Location - Howrah, Jalan Complex - gate no. 1
CTC Range - 2.4 lacs to 3 lacs
