Job description
Urgent requirement of Production supervisor for the leading manufacturing industry at Lucknow (Nadarganj) location. person with diploma/BE/B.Tech(Mech) and having 1+ years of experience in Power Press at plant level
Roles & Responsibilities Monitoring the production processes, layout and adjusting schedules as needed Improving machine production quality, productivity etc. Analysis of shop Rejections, Rework, Machine downtime, Productivity etc. Planning daily activities in line balancing with daily/weekly/monthly plans. Conduct Production meeting & Major problem discussion. Solve In process, final inspection, problems with Quality person. Generating and analyzing various production report like productivity report, machine utilization report, operators efficiency report and daily production. Conducting trainings for operators and helpers on the basis of their skill matrix and assigning work according to their skill level. Undertaking resource planning for optimizing Man and Machine utilization, Reducing wastes for enhancing productivity and profitability. Determine root causes of failures and implements corrective and preventives action. Ensure safety first, Zero accidents at work shop. Inspection & maintaining record of components. Daily monitoring of rejection & taking corrective action on defects. Solve In process, final inspection problems with production person. Handling customer complaint Knowledge of Machining Process like Turning, Surface Grinding machine, Milling, TPM, 5S Reducing rejection level & rework through continuous up gradation of quality circles to observe better compliance in line with changing customer requirement Doing Improvement works in Press shop. Machine loading planning and manpower allocation according to plan. Updating OEE, Tool Break down & Machine Break Down on the daily basis. Implementing the 5S, 3C and kaizen activities. Giving training to new operators about the Press shop process.Job tags
