Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Accounts Manager to join our sales team. The Key Accounts Manager will be responsible for nurturing and growing relationships with key clients to maximize revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in account management and sales, with a focus on driving growth and fostering long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Account Farming: Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue and profitability from assigned key accounts.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and objectives.
  • Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Sales Expansion: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services to existing clients to drive revenue growth.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with internal teams to develop account plans and strategies tailored to each client's needs and objectives.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Monitor sales performance, track key account metrics, and provide regular reports and updates to management on account activity, revenue forecasts, and growth opportunities.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify potential threats and opportunities for business growth.
  • Customer Advocacy: Serve as a customer advocate within the organization, ensuring that client feedback and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

  • MBA from a reputed institute in Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in key account management, sales, or business development, preferably in the Data Science services sales. Candidates with experience only in software product sales need not apply.
  • Proven track record of success in growing revenues from allocated accounts and meeting sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
