Responsibilities:
- Menu Development:Collaborate with the culinary team to design, develop, and update menus that align with the organization's culinary vision, dietary preferences, and trends
- Ensure menus cater to a diverse range of tastes and dietary needs
- Quality Control:Implement and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Conduct regular evaluations of food preparation techniques, portion control, and overall kitchen efficiency
- Team Management:Lead and inspire the culinary team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages creativity and innovation
- Customer Satisfaction:Interact with customers to gather feedback on their dining experiences and use this information to make continuous improvements
- Address customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally
- Event Planning:Coordinate and execute special culinary events, promotions, and themed dinners to enhance the overall dining experience
- Work closely with the marketing team to promote events and attract a wider audience
- Cost Management:Monitor and control food costs, waste, and inventory levels
- Collaborate with the procurement team to source high-quality ingredients at competitive prices
- Compliance and Safety:Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards
