Job description
Objective : Product Validation, Safety & Reliability Testing & Life testing in the area of Fans, Water heaters & Appliances Products.
Competencies: 1. Have good sound knowledge of the Electronics / Electrical Components, Mechanical parts, products, product engineering & customer expectations from products. 2. Hands-on experience with product requirements & their validation, and documentation requirements. 3. Have sound knowledge of working in above products & their standards. 4. Good Exposure in using varieties of Safety, Reliability & general testing instruments. 5. Should have Good problem capturing skills & simulating test conditions / problems. 6. Good skills in usage of Excel. Main Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Product Validation & life testing in the areas of Fan, water heater & appliances. 2. Execute Safety & Product reliability related tests as per agreed format. 3. View the new submitted products for DFM & DFS and report the findings. 4. Able to catch Application, design, Safety & reliability related issues in products. 5. Validation format adherence & suggestions for improvement from time to time. 6. Report the issues found during validation to Reporting Manager neutrally. 7. Provide regular inputs for value engineering & product improvements. Qualification & Experience: 1. Degree / Diploma in Electronics / Electrical Engineering. 2. Specialized Training in Reliability Testing will be an added advantage. 3. Min 6 - 10 years of hardcore Product Validation, Reliability & Safety Testing Experience in company of repute in Fans, Water Heater & appliances domain.Job tags
