Overview:
The role of a Web Developer is essential to our organizations digital presence. As a Web Developer you will play a crucial part in creating and maintaining our websites to ensure an optimal user experience and seamless functionality. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain websites using HTML CSS and JavaScript
- Collaborate with designers to implement visual elements into web applications
- Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement responsive design for mobile compatibility
- Debug issues and improve usability
- Conduct website testing and ongoing maintenance
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
- Ensure crossbrowser compatibility and accessibility standards
- Collaborate with backend developers for seamless integration
- Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines
- Contribute to technical documentation and training materials
- Provide support and troubleshooting for existing websites
- Implement security and data protection measures
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in HTML CSS and JavaScript
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as React.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices
- Knowledge of SEO principles and ensuring that websites adhere to them
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design
- Familiarity with backend development and API integration
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences
- Understanding of web performance optimization and security best practices
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress or Drupal
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
